¿Por qué mi teléfono no se conecta con SYNC®*?

Tu teléfono con Bluetooth®** te permite hacer llamadas manos libres, conectarte con un operador de 911 Assist, reproducir audio y más. If you have issues connecting your phone or other mobile device to SYNC, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

Important: Ensure your vehicle's SYNC software is up-to-date.

You may experience the following issues when using Bluetooth:

  • The phone/device does not automatically connect with the vehicle when the vehicle starts.
  • The phone/device connects and then disconnects randomly.
  • The Bluetooth-dependent features stop working while the client is on a call.

Bluetooth Troubleshooting Steps

Follow the steps one at a time, starting with the first, until your device pairs with SYNC. Select from the drop-down options below:

  1. Confirm you are not on an active call with the device you are trying to stream audio (play music, videos, etc.) via Bluetooth. Devices cannot stream audio while on an active call.
  2. Confirm if you are using an Apple®† device.
    • If you are using an Apple device, see the "Apple Troubleshooting" dropdown below.
    • If you are not using an Apple device, confirm your vehicle's SYNC Generation (Gen) using the SYNC Visual Reference Guide, and select from the dropdowns below based on your SYNC Gen.

Apple Troubleshooting (For All SYNC Gens)
