How do I remove vehicle modem access for authorized users?

You can complete a vehicle modem reset on your vehicle's SYNC®* screen. For more information, refer to the steps below. 

Importante:

  • This reset removes all modem accounts linked to your vehicle.
  • To remove all previous owners, users, data, and in-vehicle settings, perform a Factory Reset. A Factory Reset also deletes your navigation favorites, SiriusXM presets, and may make Digital Experience and SYNC 4 subscriptions unavailable for up to 10 days.
  • Ensure your vehicle is on, running, parked, and in a well-ventilated, safe area.

  1. Enter and start your vehicle.
  2. Tap the Apps icon on your vehicle's Lincoln Digital Experience screen.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Selecciona System.
  5. Tap Reset Options.
  6. Choose Connectivity Reset.
  7. Select Erase network data.

SYNC 4

  1. Enter and start your vehicle.
  2. Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  3. Tap the General icon.
  4. Scroll down and select Reset.
  5. Tap Lincoln Connect Reset.
  6. Scroll down and select Reset All.

    Note: A message will be displayed confirming that all modem settings will be erased and reset to the factory default.
     
  7. Choose Continue.
  8. Activate your vehicle. 

    Note: If you have connected navigation with an active subscription, the connectivity settings will need to be turned back on.

SYNC 3

  1. Enter and start your vehicle.
  2. Select Settings from your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  3. Presiona General.
  4. Scroll down and select Reset.
  5. Tap Lincoln Connect Reset.
  6. Scroll down to select Reset All.

    Note: A message will be displayed confirming that all modem settings will be erased and reset to the factory default.
     
  7. Choose Continue.
  8. Activate your vehicle.
