How do I report a successful SYNC®* installation?

You can report a completed SYNC update on the SYNC software update website. You need to use your computer and the USB drive you performed the update with.

To record a successful SYNC software update:

  1. Insert the flash drive, also known as a USB or thumb drive, you used for the update into your computer.
  2. Ir a Actualización del software de SYNC página.
  3. Scroll down to Step Three: Confirm Update on the SYNC software update page.
  4. Click on Browse for log file.
  5. Busca la unidad flash que usaste para actualizar tu sistema SYNC.

  6. Selecciona el archivo de registro XML en la carpeta "SYNCMyRide".

    Note: An example of the file you will upload is "sync_48474463_1A2B3C4D5E6F8G8H9.xml." Your filename will differ because it will contain your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
