How do I change Vehicle Connectivity settings with SYNC®*?

You can enable or disable Vehicle Connectivity through the settings menu of your SYNC system.

Turning Vehicle Connectivity Settings On and Off

Important: Ensure that your vehicle is on and running in a well-ventilated area and in Park (P).

Select your SYNC generation (gen) from the drop-down options below to learn how to modify your SYNC connectivity settings:

Note: If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option. 

Identifying Your Vehicle's SYNC Gen

Two resources to help you identify your vehicle's SYNC gen are:

    • Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and select Check for update.
    • Log in with your Lincoln credentials, choose a vehicle from your garage, and select Check for update.

Note: Your SYNC gen will appear on the right-hand side of the page.

SYNC 4

To change the connectivity settings with SYNC 4:

  1. Presiona Configuraciones en la pantalla SYNC de tu vehículo.
  2. Tap Connectivity.
  3. Choose Connectivity Vehicle Features.
  4. Toggle Vehicle Connectivity to your preference (On or Off).

We recommend keeping Vehicle Connectivity on for the best update experience.

SYNC 3

To change the connectivity settings with SYNC 3:

  1. Presiona  Configuración en la pantalla de SYNC 3 de tu vehículo.
  2. Select Lincoln Connect®** Settings.
  3. Press Connectivity Settings.
  4. Ensure all Connectivity Settings are enabled to access all Lincoln Way®† App features.
  5. To disable, slide the buttons to Off.

    • Clima
    • Noticias
    • Tráfico
    • Navegación
    • Points of interest, and more
  • Bluetooth®†† Prioritization: Add, delete, and prioritize your Bluetooth-enabled devices with Bluetooth Prioritization.
  • Wireless App Projection: Customize the touchscreen SYNC AppLink®‡ display.
  • Manage Wi-Fi Networks: Add and delete your list of Wi-Fi networks.
