How do I add and delete favorite locations in my Lincoln vehicle?

You can save your home and other favorite locations, and then delete them using your SYNC®* or Digital Experience** system, following the steps outlined in this article.

Adding or Deleting a Favorite Location Using SYNC or Digital Experience

Important: Your vehicle must be parked, running, and in an open, well-ventilated, and safe area.

Select if you would like to add a favorite location or delete a favorite location, and refer to the appropriate section below.

Adding a Favorite Location

Select Digital Experience or your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to save a location to your favorites. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.

Select a resource in the table below to help you identify your vehicle's SYNC generation.

Digital Experience

  1. Open the Google Maps app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Search for a place, tap a marker, or touch and hold a spot on the map.
  3. Tap the name or address of the location.

  4. Press Save and choose a list to save the location in.

The system will save the location to your list of favorites.

SYNC 4

  1. Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Press the map image.

  3. Tap the Search icon.

  4. Enter a partial destination.
  5. Tap the Search icon.
  6. Select Address.
  7. Tap the Favorites icon (star) icon.
  8. Enter the name of the destination.
  9. Select Enter.
  10. Toca Guardar.

The system will save the location to your list of favorites.

SYNC 3

  1. Select Nav on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Choose Controls.
  3. Tap Destination.
  4. Presiona Favoritos.
  5. Selecciona Agregar un favorito.
  6. Ingresa una dirección.
  7. Presiona Guardar.

The system will save the location to your list of favorites.

SYNC con MyLincoln Touch

  1. Select the map image on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Press Dest.
  3. Choose one of the following options to find your destination:
    • Dirección
    • Previous Destinations
    • Point of Interest
  4. Input a location.
  5. Press Save to Favorites.

The system will save the location to your list of favorites.

SYNC con navegación activada por voz

  1. Press Dest button on your vehicle's SYNC system.
  2. Select the Quick tab on the SYNC screen.
  3. Choose a slot under Favorite Destinations.
  4. Follow the prompts to enter and save an address as a favorite.

Select Digital Experience or your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to remove a location from your favorites. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.

Digital Experience

  1. Open the Google Maps app on your phone or tablet.

  2. Tap the Lists icon at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select the More icon (three dots) next to the list that includes the place you want to remove.
  4. Press Edit list.
  5. Tap Remove next to the place you want to remove.

SYNC 4

  1. Press Navigation on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Select Saved.
  3. Swipe left on Destination.
  4. Either:
    • Tap the Edit icon (pencil) or the Delete icon (trash can).
    • Press the Star to unhighlight the destination and prevent it from being saved.

SYNC 3

  1. Select Nav on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Choose Controls.
  3. Tap Destination.
  4. Press Favorites.
  5. Select the destination you wish to change from your Favorites list. Luego aparecerá una pantalla con un mapa y la dirección de la ubicación.

  1. Press Destinations on your vehicle's SYNC screen.

  3. Locate the entry you would like to edit/delete and tap on either:
    • Delete to remove.
    • Edit to edit.

  1. Press the Nav button on your vehicle's SYNC system.
  2. Tap Dest. memory on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  3. Select Edit.

You have the option to erase one or all entries from this list.
