How do I remove my Phone As A Key using the Lincoln Way App or SYNC?
You can delete your Phone As A Key* using the Lincoln Way® App** or via your vehicle's SYNC®† screen.
Importante:
Deleting a Phone As A Key device also deletes any Backup Start Passcodes associated with it.
Note: Deleting or resetting the Backup Start Passcode does not impact the Phone As A Key setup.
- You can only delete keys associated with your Lincoln Way App account.
- If your device is lost or stolen, comunícate con un asistente for key removal assistance.
Removing Phone As A Key
Select your Lincoln Way App experience from the dropdowns below for steps on how to delete your Phone As A Key.
Lincoln Way App 4.X Experience
- Inicia sesión en la aplicación Lincoln Way.
- Go to the Vehicle screen.
- Scroll down and select the Phone As A Key.
- Tap Edit.
- Select the Trash icon next to the device you want to remove.
Note: Select the How do I remove keys? link for information on how to remove all keys.
- Enter your username and password.
- Select Remove Key.
Your key will now be removed.
Note: You can also select the Key Controls > Manage Keys path to remove devices within Lincoln Way.
Lincoln Way App 5.X Experience
- Inicia sesión en la aplicación Lincoln Way.
- Go to the Vehicle screen.
- Scroll down and select the Vehicle Settings.
- Tap Phone as a Key.
- Select the Delete next to the device you want to remove.
- Tap Delete on the pop-up message.
Once done, the device key list will no longer display the deleted key. When the deletion is successful, you will receive a confirmation email.
Deleting Keys via SYNC
Important: Your vehicle must be parked and running, and in an open location (e.g., free of overhead foliage, ceilings, etc.).
- Safely enter your vehicle.
- Toca Configuración.
- Selecciona General.
- Scroll down and select Reset.
- Tap Lincoln Connect Reset.
- Select Phone As A Key Reset.
- Tap Continue.
All Phone As A Key devices will be removed.
