¿Qué es Lincoln BlueCruise?

Lincoln BlueCruise^* allows hands-free highway driving on 97% of controlled-access highways across the U.S. and Canada. These areas are called hands-free Blue Zones.

When activated, a mode indicator in the display cluster displays a steering wheel graphic with the text "Hands-Free." A blue background appears when it is safe to remove your hands from the steering wheel and indicates when you need to put them back on the steering wheel to take control. This indicator helps provide a clear notification when Lincoln BlueCruise is engaged.

Importante: 

• Some BlueCruise features will vary as new versions are developed for newer vehicle models. For specific information on BlueCruise features for your vehicle, refer to your Owner's Manual.
• BlueCruise cannot be used while towing.

Cómo funciona

Available Lincoln BlueCruise builds upon Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go and Lane Centering.

BlueCruise controls your vehicle's steering, braking, and acceleration while keeping you centered in your lane. For BlueCruise to work, the driver must pay attention to the road (as determined by the driver-facing camera), lane lines must be clearly visible to the vehicle's external sensors, and you must be traveling in a Blue Zone (determined by the vehicle's connected maps).

BlueCruise lets you switch lanes hands-free with Lane Change Assist and provides extra room with In-Lane Repositioning, where your vehicle subtly shifts away from vehicles in adjacent lanes.^**
