How do I use the Record Feedback feature in my Lincoln?

You can record and share voice feedback about your experiences and vehicle with Lincoln through your SYNC®* 4 or Digital Experience** systems using the steps below.

Submitting Voice Feedback

The Record Feedback feature is available on Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 or Digital Experience. If you are unsure of your SYNC generation, refer to the SYNC Visual Reference Guide, which has example images of each SYNC generation.

Lincoln Digital Experience

  1. Select the Apps Drawer icon (six dots) on your vehicle's Digital Experience screen.
  2. Tap Record Feedback. You will receive an audio prompt stating, “Record any likes, dislikes, or suggestions about experiences with your vehicle, and then tap Send.” 
  3. Address any message prompts you may see on your screen (e.g., adding your vehicle to Lincoln Way, enabling Share Vehicle Data, or enabling the Microphone).
  4. Select Record. You have 45 seconds to make a recording and send it. The status bar will climb to show the recording is in progress. 
  5. Choose either:
    • Send: This will send your feedback to Lincoln.
    • Cancel: This will delete your feedback without sending it.

SYNC 4

  1. Tap Settings or Features on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Press Record Feedback. You will receive an audio prompt stating, "Record any likes, dislikes, or suggestions about experiences with your vehicle, and then select Send."
  3. Address any message prompts you may see on your screen (e.g., adding your vehicle to Lincoln Way, enabling Vehicle Connectivity, or enabling Share Vehicle Data in the SYNC settings).
  4. Select Record. You have 45 seconds to make and send your voice feedback recording. The status bar will climb to show the recording is in progress.
  5. Choose either:
    • Send: This will send your feedback to Lincoln.
    • Cancel: This will delete your feedback without sending it.

*Don't drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear.  Not all features are compatible with all phones.
