Why does my Lincoln show the "No Key Detected" message when using Phone As A Key?
You may receive a "No Key Detected" message if your vehicle is not detecting your Phone As A Key* within the interior cabin (inside your vehicle). If you receive the "No Key Detected" message in your Lincoln app, follow the steps below:
Troubleshooting the No Key Detected Message
- Move the phone closer to the center of the vehicle near the cup holder or center console. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 2.
- Close the Lincoln app and then reopen the app.
- Turn your mobile device's Bluetooth Wireless Technology® off and then back on.
If you continue to receive the message, follow the troubleshooting instructions below.
In the Lincoln app:
- Tap the Vehicle icon to go to the Vehicle dashboard.
- Scroll down and tap Settings.
- Choose Phone as a Key.
- Locate the Device Keys section and confirm that your phone is listed as a key, and review the status of your key.
If your key status is showing:
- Active: The key is active and can be used for Phone as a Key features.
- Incomplete: The key was generated, but your setup was not completed. You will need to continue setup to activate your key.
- Deleting...: The key has been deleted.
