Why does my Lincoln show the "No Key Detected" message when using Phone As A Key?

You may receive a "No Key Detected" message if your vehicle is not detecting your Phone As A Key* within the interior cabin (inside your vehicle). If you receive the "No Key Detected" message in your Lincoln app, follow the steps below:

Troubleshooting the No Key Detected Message

  1. Move the phone closer to the center of the vehicle near the cup holder or center console. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 2.
  2. Close the Lincoln app and then reopen the app.
  3. Turn your mobile device's Bluetooth Wireless Technology® off and then back on.

If you continue to receive the message, follow the troubleshooting instructions below.

In the Lincoln app:

  1. Tap the Vehicle icon to go to the Vehicle dashboard.
  2. Scroll down and tap Settings.
  3. Choose Phone as a Key.
  4. Locate the Device Keys section and confirm that your phone is listed as a key, and review the status of your key.

If your key status is showing:

  • Active: The key is active and can be used for Phone as a Key features.
  • Incomplete: The key was generated, but your setup was not completed. You will need to continue setup to activate your key.
  • Deleting...: The key has been deleted.

If you need further assistance, contact a Lincoln app Client Experience Manager by selecting Account > Contact Help in your app or calling us at 1-844-324-2330.
