How can I view my in-vehicle Wi-Fi data plan and usage?

You can view your Wi-Fi® hotspot* usage and data plan using your vehicle's SYNC®** 3 or SYNC 4 screen by following the steps below.

Important: Ensure that your data plan has been correctly set up.

Viewing Your Wi-Fi Data Plan and Usage

Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to view your Wi-Fi data plan and usage on your vehicle's SYNC screen. Select the first drop-down option if you need assistance determining the generation of your vehicle's SYNC system.

Identifying Your Vehicle's SYNC Generation

SYNC 4

To view your Wi-Fi hotspot data usage on your SYNC screen:

  1. Access your vehicle.
  2. Ensure your vehicle is on, running, in Park (P), and located in a well-ventilated area.
  3. Selecciona Inicio.
  4. Tap Vehicle Hotspot.
  5. Select Data Usage.

The Data Usage section will display:

  • Your data plan type.
  • Approximate data usage.
  • The data expiration date.
  • The Refresh button to reload all Wi-Fi information.
  • Low data warnings at 75%, 90%, and 100% usage.

SYNC 3

To view your Wi-Fi hotspot data usage on your SYNC screen:

  1. Access your vehicle.
  2. Ensure your vehicle is on, running, in Park (P), and located in a well-ventilated area.

  5. Press the arrow (>) to the right of Data Usage.

    Note: The following details will appear:
    • Your plan type
    • Your data usage
    • A date and timestamp of the last status

  7. Select Information to view more details about your usage.
