What are the phone requirements for Android Auto?
Not all Android devices are compatible with Android Auto™ and SYNC®*. Your device must meet the requirements outlined below.
You must have:
- The Android Auto app downloaded from the Google Play Store.
- A vehicle equipped with Lincoln Digital Experience, SYNC 4, or SYNC 3.
- An Android phone with an active data plan.
- A phone that meets the operating system (OS) requirements based on the vehicle's SYNC generation and connection type in the table below.
