What is the Auto Start-Stop feature in my Lincoln?

Auto Start-Stop Technology (if equipped)* can help reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emissions by switching off the engine when the vehicle comes to a stop.

¿Cómo funciona la tecnología de encendido-apagado?

When you apply the brakes and come to a complete stop (e.g., at a traffic light), your engine automatically shuts off. A light on the instrument cluster will inform you that the engine is off. Your vehicle automatically restarts immediately once you take your foot off the brake pedal.

Notas:

  • Auto Start-Stop may not shut your engine off if your vehicle's battery is charging, the engine is still warming up, or if you are using heat or air conditioning.
  • Tu vehículo viene equipado con un motor de arranque y batería para trabajo pesado que ayuda a compensar por la gran cantidad de arranques y paradas.
