How long will it take the Oil Life reset to be represented within the Lincoln Way®* App?

In most cases, it will require that the vehicle be operated for three trips/drive cycles following the Vehicle Oil Life Reset before the Cloud-based algorithm reflects the reset. This may cause the Lincoln Way App to differ from the in-vehicle display for a short period. This is done to ensure that an actual oil life reset has been performed. 

It is recommended for clients who prefer to change their own oil to ensure that the vehicle ignition is cycled off following the OIL LIFE reset and the vehicle restarted. This will ensure that the update process in the Cloud is initiated. The Cloud should update the oil life within three vehicle trips.
