What does my vehicle’s modem do?
The vehicle’s modem allows you to connect and control certain vehicle functions, such as:
- Remotely lock and unlock your vehicle.
- Remotely start your vehicle.
- Locate your parked vehicle.
- Schedule a remote start for specific times and days of the week.
- Check your fuel level.
- Turn your vehicle into a Wi-Fi Hotspot* that allows you to connect up to 10 wireless devices.
To use the remote control features, download the Lincoln app and activate your vehicle’s modem.

*Wi‑Fi® hotspot includes complimentary wireless data trial that begins upon AT&T activation and expires at the end of 3 months or when 3 GB of data is used, whichever comes first, but cannot extend beyond the complimentary subscription period for remote features.
