¿Cómo uso el control de velocidad en mi Lincoln?

The Cruise Control* feature maintains a set vehicle speed without the need to keep your foot on the accelerator pedal. See below for instructions on using cruise control and different types of cruise control features.

Note: Cruise Control is only available when your vehicle's speed exceeds 20 mph.

Using Cruise Control

To set cruise control in your vehicle:

  1. Press the ON cruise control switch on your steering wheel**. An indicator light will appear on the vehicle's information display.

  2. Drive at your desired speed.
  3. Press Set.
  4. Quita el pie del acelerador.

Your cruise control speed is now set. Pressing the cruise control button on the steering wheel or applying the brake pedal will cancel cruise control.

Cruise Control Feature Types

Adaptive Cruise Control works like normal cruise control but uses radar and a camera to detect a vehicle ahead and will automatically slow the vehicle to maintain a comfortable distance behind the vehicle in front.

Adaptive Cruise Control provides:

  • Advanced radar technology used to monitor traffic ahead and scan for slower vehicles.
  • The ability to maintain a comfortable distance behind the vehicle in front.
Stop-And-GoAdaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go can bring the vehicle to a complete stop when traffic slows and can accelerate back up to the pre-set speed.
Asistencia para mantenerse centrado en el carrilAdaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering reads the lane markings to help keep your vehicle centered in the lane, yet the driver needs to keep hands on the wheel.

Note: Lane Centering is not designed to operate on tight radius curves such as highway ramps, or lanes that are abnormally wide or narrow.
Predictive Speed AssistYou can enable the Predictive Speed Assist option in the center display to allow the vehicle to automatically adjust the speed while traversing select curves.
