How long will it take the Oil Life reset to be represented within the Lincoln app?

In most cases, the vehicle must be operated for three trips/drive cycles after the Vehicle Oil Life Reset for the Cloud-based algorithm to reflect the reset. This may cause the Lincoln app to differ from the in-vehicle display for a short period. This is done to ensure that an actual oil life reset has been performed. 

It is recommended for clients who prefer to change their own oil to ensure that the vehicle ignition is cycled off following the OIL LIFE reset and the vehicle restarted. This will ensure that the update process in the Cloud is initiated. The Cloud should update the oil life within three vehicle trips.
