How do I extend the remote start run time for my Lincoln?

You can increase your remote start run time using the Lincoln app or using your in-vehicle instrument cluster. Use the steps below for more details. 

Extending Remote Start

Extend Your Remote Start in the Lincoln App

To extend your vehicle's remote start run time:

Note: To use this function, your initial start must be requested from the Lincoln app and not your keyfob. 

  1. Log in to the Lincoln app.
  2. Select the Extend button from the in-app notification.

If you experience any issues, contact a Lincoln app Client Experience Manager using the Account>Contact Help options in the Lincoln app.

Extend Your Remote Start in Your Vehicle

Use the following steps for in-vehicle setting changes:

  1. Enciende el vehículo.
  2. Select Settings using the directional pad on your steering wheel.
  3. Navega hasta Configuración avanzada.
  4. Presiona OK.
  5. Navega hasta Vehículo.
  6. Presiona OK.
  7. Navega hasta Encendido remoto.
  8. Presiona OK.
  9. Navega hasta Duración.
  10. Presiona OK.
  11. Select from the three options:
    • Five minutes
    • Ten minutes
    • Fifteen minutes

Notas:
